Marathon Brake Appoints Bob Hicks as President

 

Effective immediately, Marathon Brake is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Hicks as company President.  Bob has nearly 30 years experience in the heavy-duty friction and brake industry.  “We are extremely fortunate to have Bob join the Marathon team.  Bob has a great deal of experience and is respected throughout the heavy-duty industry, and we believe he can lead the Marathon Brake business unit to the next level in the North American market”, comments Danilo Arguello, President of Incolbestos.  Most recently, Bob was the Director of Sales at Carlisle. 

In addition, Marathon Brake is also pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Myers to the position of Director of Marketing.  Scott has 19 years of heavy-duty friction experience, and his background includes a unique combination of sales, marketing, friction formulation and product engineering skills.  Most recently, Scott was the Director of Marketing and Product Development at Carlisle.

Finally, Marathon is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Rayball as Director of US Sales.  Bill has over 31 years of experience in the automotive and heavy-duty industry.  Bill’s experience and industry knowledge will be extremely beneficial to the Marathon sales growth strategy in the U.S. Market.
